How to Install BuildInPublic on Your Phone

BuildInPublic works great in your browser, but did you know you can install it as an app on your phone? Here's how to add BuildInPublic to your home screen for quick access.

What is a PWA?

A Progressive Web App (PWA) is a website that works like a native app. Once installed, BuildInPublic will:

• Launch from your home screen with its own icon
• Open in full-screen mode without browser UI
• Load faster with cached resources
• Support push notifications (coming soon)

Install on iPhone / iPad (iOS)

1. Open Safari (this only works in Safari, not Chrome or other browsers)
2. Go to build-in-public.net
3. Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up)
4. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
5. Tap "Add" in the top right corner

That's it! You'll now see the BuildInPublic icon on your home screen.

Install on Android

Using Chrome

1. Open Chrome
2. Go to build-in-public.net
3. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right

5. Tap "Add" to confirm

Using Samsung Internet

1. Open Samsung Internet
2. Go to build-in-public.net
3. Tap the menu icon (three lines)
